Imaged Saturn and several of its moons (Starting at the Noon position going clockwise: Titan, Tethys, Rhea, and Dione) in RGB on the night of September 20, 2021 under average seeing and transparency. This is my second attempt at imaging Saturn's moons and creating a composite image of the planet and its moons from separate images exposed for Saturn and its moons. Used a shorter exposure for the moons than my first attempt and the results are somewhat improved.

Imaged with a C8 Evo, ZWO ADC, Baader UV-IR Cut and 685nm IR pass filters, and ZWO ASI224MC. Imaging train was configured to give me ~F/20. Image capture using Firecapture with gain set at 375 and an exposure of 15 ms (for Saturn) and 250 ms (for moons). Stacking in AutoStakkert3 (best 25% of ~7500 frames captured over 240 seconds for Saturn and 250 frames over 240 seconds for the moons). Color balancing and Wavelet sharpening in Registax6. Combined planet and moon images using: (1) GIMP (selected planet and moons and pasted into new combined image) and (2) PixInsight to clean up image using clonestamp process.

Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
Promotions by Submitters When 3 distinct Submitters promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for Top Pick status. This requirement, in addition to anonymization of images and distribution to only a subset of them, prevents biases and ensures that the best images are selected.
Promotions by Reviewers When 3 distinct Reviewers promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for IOTD status.
Early dismissal Staff members have a lot of images to inspect on a daily basis, and they can dismiss images if they believe they don't meet the requirements for IOTD/TP selection. If an image is dismissed 5 times, it's removed from the process. This streamlines the process and ensures that any bias present in promotions could be overruled by other staff members.
